One of our clients requested our help in developing the leadership
skills of 150 leaders across Europe. The client has a reputation
for being the ‘world’s most admired organisation’
and for developing a pipeline of leadership talent. Crucial to this
development was to develop existing and new leaders with a set of
tools and techniques that would help develop them develop high performing
teams and individuals.
We developed a 2 day interactive leadership programme that covered
modules such as performance management, coaching and giving feedback,
hiring the best and the importance of ‘walking the talk’
by adopting the organisation’s values.
In order to ensure that the organization could evaluate the effectiveness
of the programme, each leadership team across Europe were asked
to identify the top 6 leadership behaviours that they would adopt
that would help drive a performance management culture within the
business. The effect of the 6 behaviours within each leadership
team has led to an improvement in the organisation’s ‘employee
survey’ results and improved productivity.
