Linda
is an experienced lawyer, having spent over 10 years working in
multi-national law firms. Her realm of expertise is private client
work. She is very experienced in developing and maintaining relationships
with clients, an essential component of this area of work. Her real
motivation for specialising as a private client practitioner was
precisely because she enjoyed and had an aptitude for dealing with
clients.
Linda’s career began at Simmons & Simmons’ London
and Hong Kong offices. She subsequently spent over 7 years with
Osborne Clarke in Bristol, where she developed her career as a private
client lawyer and became an associate.
After a career break, she resumed her role in Charles Russell’s
private capital team.
Throughout this time, Linda was involved in presenting and delivering
to both clients and colleagues, both in training situations and
in meetings. Interfacing with her clients in particular was intrinsic
to the success of her practice and she always enjoyed and maintained
excellent working relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
Linda is now using the skills and qualities developed during her
legal career to help others to understand the importance of fostering
and maintaining good relationships with their clients and colleagues
in order to be successful in an ever competitive marketplace, and
to assist them in developing these essential skills. Linda is also
currently studying and training for a qualification in counselling,
with the goal of supplementing the practical knowledge and skills
acquired in practice with a knowledge of the theory behind counselling.
